 Unit 16: Doing the housework
 (Lesson 3)
A. Aim:
 - Help sts practice talking about what they can see; practice writing the letter 
Ww and complete the words; help sts pronounce again the /w/ sound and use the 
right words and sentences.

* Sentence: I can see water.
* Teaching aids: Phonics cards
B. Procedure:
I. Warm-up: 
 Watching and acting the song: “What can you see?”
II. New lesson:
1. Let’s talk:
- Have sts look at the things in the pictures and name them 
- Point to a, model: I can see water (Have sts repeat)
- Run through all the things
- Present for sts do the same with others
- Have sts work in pairs, base on the model to practice talking 
- Call some sts talk aloud
- Give feedback
2. Look and write; Look, write then say (3, 4 in Workbook)
- Guide sts to write letter Ww in Sts’ book and workbook
- Have sts write (trace) the letter W/w in lines in their books 
- Ask ss to fill in the gaps with the letter W/w
- Check and give feedback

III. Song:
 - Run through the words in the song;
 - Read – sts repeat
 - Play the CD. The students listen and sing along.
 - Play the CD again. The pupils sing and clap their hands.
 - Call some pairs sing aloud - Give feedback.
IV. Reinforcement:
- Have sts practice the sentence: I can see a door.
