 Unit 14: In the toy shop 
 (Lesson 2)
A. Aim:
 The lesson helps students be able to:
 - practice words with t sound in situation;
 - Practice using words with t sound in simple sentences by chanting
 - Practice listening t sound in the 4 words and words with sound.
* Skills
 Reading, Listening, Speaking
* Teaching aids: Phonics cards
B. Procedure:
I. Warm-up: 
 Miming
 - Mime tiger -> Sts: tiger
II. New lesson:
1. Point and say:
- Show the pictures
- Elicit names of the animals, thing and name of the boy in the pictures: teddy bear, 
tiger, Tony and turtle
- Get sts point and say one by one
- Call some sts point and say
- Give feedback
2. Chant :
 - Show the chant with words with letter Tt on the board
 - Read through the sentences
 - Have listen and repeat the sentences
 - Play the tape a few times.
 - Ask them to listen again and repeat.
 - Have sts practice chanting in groups of 4
 - Model the actions for the chant, ask sts to do along
 - Call some groups chant and act aloud
 - Give feedback
3. Listen and tick: 
- Elicit names of things in pairs in the pictures given
- Give feedback - Have sts run through the names of animals again
- Present what they have to do in this part
- Play the CD. Have the students listen and tick (twice)
- Get sts’ answers
- Play the CD again. The students listen and check their answer 
- Give feedback

III. Projects (Workbook): Find and colour Tony, the teddy bear , tiger, and 
turtle
- Show the picture on the screen
- Ask sts to find where is Tony, the teddy bear, tiger and turtle
- Have sts listen to the thing, names of the animals and name of the boy that teacher 
says and colour them one by one
- Listen and colour the pictures
- Go around to check the sts’ work
- Give feedback
IV. Consolidation:
 - Recite the chant
 Unit 14: In the toy shop 
 (Lesson 3)
A. Aim:
 - Help sts practice speaking the sentences to ask someone to look at someone 
or something; practice writing the letter Tt and complete the words; help sts 
pronounce again the /t/ sound and use the right words and sentences.
* Skills: Speaking, Writing
* Sentence: I can see a tiger.
* Teaching aids: Phonics cards
B. Procedure:
I. Warm-up: 
 - Greet students
 - Recite the Tt chant 
II. New lesson:
1. Let’s talk:
- Have sts look at things they can see in the pictures: tiger, a, teddy bear, turtle - Point to picture a, model: I can see a tiger.
- Present for sts do the same with others
- Have sts work in pairs, base on the model to practice talking 
- Call some sts talk aloud
- Give feedback
2. Look and write; Look, write then say (3, 4 in Workbook)
- Guide sts to write letter Tt in Sts’ book and workbook
- Have sts write (trace) the letter T/t in lines in their books 
- Ask ss to fill in the gaps with suitable form of letter T/t
- Check and give feedback

3. Song:
 - Run through the words in the song;
 - Read – sts repeat
 - Play the CD. The students listen and sing along.
 - Play the CD again. The pupils sing and clap their hands.
 - Call some pairs sing aloud
 - Give feedback.
III. Reinforcement:
- Have sts practice the sentence: I can see .(things they can see around)
