A. OBJECTIVES:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
1. Knowledge:
- use the exchange “How many _____?” - “_____.” to ask and answer questions 
about the quantity of things (from two to five). 
- sing a song focusing on the structure “There are _____.
- Vocabulary: ball, bike, book.
- Skills: speaking and listening
2. Competences: 
- Know how to sing exactly.
- Know how to practise some sounds.
- Co-operation: ready to help friends in pair work/ group work.
3. Attitude/ Qualities:
-Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. 
Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students, love learning English

- Work in pairs, work in groups, ask and answer.
- Communicative approach, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by 
visual, teaching methods by practicing, prediction.

2. New lesson
Activity 1. Listen and repeat:
*Aims: Ss will be able to listen and repeat the 
exchange: “How many clocks?” – Two.
*Procedures:
- Have pupils look at the picture and ask them to -Look at the picture and listen

- Ask pupils to point to the first line. Play the

- Have pupils look at the picture again. Ask them -Look at the picture and

*Aims: Ss will be able to recognize which item is 
different from the others and say the word
*Procedure:

at the flashcards/pictures, find the odd one out and 
say it, please!
- Divide the class into four groups. Put three -Ss play game.

obviously different from the others 
- Call the first group to go to the board. Ask the 
pupils to point to the odd one out in the first set of 
the flashcards/pictures. The pupil who points to 
the correct word (bag) then says it correctly gets 
one point for that group. If the pupil has difficulty, 
ask other pupils in the group to help him/her. 
- Put the flashcards/pictures on the board and 
continue the game in the same way with other 
groups
