Sentences patterns: Revision C. Teaching aids: - Ss’ book, radio, Cd, pictures,ect. D. Procedures: I. Warm up: - Interview How much is the .? It’s dong II. New lesson: 4. Listen and tick. - Set the context: How many clothes are there? - Ask Ss to name clothes and prices in the pictures. - Note Ss to pay attention to clothes and prices when they are listening. - Ask Ss to listen and tick twice. - Let Ss compare with their partner. - Give feedback. 5. Look and write. - Ask Ss to look at the pictures. Answer the questions. How many clothes are there? How much is it? - Ask Ss to write down the price of each clothes - Give feedback by reading their answers aloud or write on the board. 6. Look, listen and repeat. - Introduce the new lesson. - Set the scene: Who are they? (Mai and Hoa). What are they doing? (talking). What are they talking about? Now listen and repeat. - Ask Ss to repeat the instruction of the teacher: Listen and repeat. (In Vietnamese) - Play the tape and ask Ss: Are you ready? Listen and write the prices. - Set the context: How many questions are there? - Ask Ss to listen and write - Listen and check - Give feedback 5. Look and write. - Set the context: How many clothes are there? (four). - Have S identify names of clothes, colour, prices. - Ask Ss to look at the pictures then write. - Give feedback by reading their answers aloud or writing on the board. 6. Let’s sing: Buying clothes - Ask Ss to tell the name of the song. - Have Ss listen to the song. - Ask them to listen again and sing along. - Praise ss. Give comments. III. Phonics: ‘sandals ‘trousers ‘jumper ‘jacket C. Teaching aids: - English book 4, chalk, board, computer. D. Procedures: I. Warm up: - Sing a song: Buying clothes II. New lesson: 1. Listen and repeat. - Tell Ss that they are going to practice saying the words with the first stress ‘sandals I like these sandals ‘trousers I don’t like these trousers ‘jumper How much is that jumper? ‘jacket The jacket is fifty three thousand dong - Play the tape for Ss to listen and repeat twice. - Ask Ss to work in pairs. - Get some Ss to perform in front of the class. Check as a class and correct the pronunciation. 2. Look at the sentences and the stress marks(‘). Then listen and say aloud - Ask Ss to look at the sentences .
