She has been playing The Sims, her favourite game for fourteen years now, since she was 4 years old! C. David, my brother, is very similar to my Dad and sister in the games he likes. He enjoys playing different kinds of computer games and he can usually be found with his laptop playing games. He is very lazy though and never does his college homework. He says that if he becomes one of the best gamers, he can earn a lot of money. He plays an online game called League of Legends and works with other people in tournaments. He has not won any money yet, though. D. Like my dad, sister and brother, I also love to play video games. I play many different types of games but my favourite is role-play. I, like my sister, love the stories in the games. I remember when I was a child, I used to sit beside my dad and watch him play games after work. This is one of my favourite childhood memories. Memories ________ 3..._________________________ 6 Text 3: How Paper is Recycled We use paper every day - from exercise books, worksheets, magazines and comics to food packaging and toilet paper. In one year the world uses 400 million tonnes of paper. That’s a lot of trees chopped down to produce our paper! That is why it is important not to waste paper and to try to recycle as much paper as we can. What is recycling? Recycling is when a material, such as paper, is used to make something new. For example, old newspapers can be used to make new toilet paper. How is paper recycled? 1. Paper and cardboard are put into recycling bins. 2. Paper is taken from the recycling bin and taken in a lorry to the recycling factory. 7 3. At the recycling factory the different types of paper are sorted before being processed. 4. The paper is then cut up, washed and made into pulp. It is filtered, cleaned and the ink removed. 5. Pulp is made by mixing the paper and water. The pulp is then sprayed onto large sheets and rolled on heated rollers to make them thin and remove excess water. 6. The paper is dried and rolled and ready to be sent to other factories to make new products. A. Comprehension 1. Number the sentences in the correct order.
