WEEK 34 GRADE 3 Date of teaching: 3A,3B,3C ( 09/05/2022 ) Period 67 REVIEW UNIT 17,18,19 STAGE 1: DESIRED OBJECTIVES A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use the words and phrases related to the topics: toys, action in progress, weather, , places, distance • listen and identify specific information related to the topics:somewhere to go • read and identify specific information related to the topics:somewhere to go • use simple sentences to write about themselves. B. LANGUAGE FOCUS: + Vocabulary :Review + Sentence patterns: Review C.TEACHING AIDS: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book . 2. Pg Point and say. - Tell the class that they are going to ask and answer questions about toys, using what toys do you like? – I like How many ships/ cars/ do you have/ I have - Then ask them to look at the four pictures and ask them to say. - Ask ps to work in pairs and do the task. - Call a few pairs to act out the dialogue in front of the class. - Work in pairs. Ask your partners the toys. - Tell pupils that they are going to work in pairs and ask and answer questions about the toys - Invite one or two pairs to act out the exchanges. - Asking Ps to focus on the structure once again. Task 2: Work in pairs. Elicit the names of activities - Ask pupils to guess and complete the speech bubbles. - Ask them to point the pictures and role play using the pictures in their books. Monitor the activity and offer help. Correct pronunciation errors (stress, assimilation of sounds, intonation) when necessary. - Call on some pairs to perform their task at the front of the class. The rest of the class observe and give comments. - Have the whole class repeat all the phrases in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation. * Work in pairs. - Ask students to work in pairs with your classmates, ask and answer about the activities - Ask Ss work in pairs. OBJECTIVES To test speaking skill of the students B. Content Part 1: Getting to know each other (0.75m) The examiner asks 3 questions below: 1. What’s your name? 2. what toys do you like? 3. Do you have any pets? Part 2: Talking with your topic (0.75m) The test taker is given a carton box in which there are three topics. The examiner chooses one topic into the box and answers the following questions. (“Please open the box and take one thing.”) The test taker asks three questions of them. 1. How old is you father/mother/brother/sister ? 2. Is there a dining room in your house ? 3. Do you have any toys? 4. what toys do you like? 5. Do you have any pets? 6. How many ships/trucks/cars/dolls do you have? 7. What is Hoa/ Mai doing ? 8. what’s the weather like? 9. where’s Ha Tinh/ Nghe An ? 10. Is Ha Tinh near Da Nang?
