WEEK 32 GRADE 3 Date of teaching:3A, 3B, 3C ( 25/04/2022 ) Period 62 REVIEW 4 STAGE 1: DESIRED OBJECTIVES A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use the words and phrases related to the theme Me and the world around. • listen and identify specific information related to the theme Me and the world around. • read and identify specific information related to the theme Me and the world around. • use simple sentences to write about themselves. B. LANGUAGE FOCUS: + Vocabulary :Review (Unit 15 – 20) + Sentence patterns: Review(Unit 15 – 20) C.TEACHING AIDS: 1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book . 2. Students’: books, notebooks STAGE 2: ASSESSMENT EVIDENCE Performance Tasks Performance Assessment products tools 1. Read the paragraph and look pictures the Students' interaction Observation correct words filling the gapped sentences. And writing Key 2. Read the questions and match with the Students' interaction Observation correct answers. And writing Key STAGE 3: LEARNING EXPERIENCES/ LEARNING PLAN * Warm up: brainstorm “activities” Activities 1. Read and complete. • Tell the class that they are going to read the passage and fill in the blanks with the suggestion words. • Give them a few seconds to read the passage. Check their understanding. Then ask them to read the text in silence and do the task independently. • Get them to swap and read their answers before checking as a class. Announce the answers to the class. Read and match. • Tell the class that they are going to read the questions in column A to match with the right answers in column B. • Give a time limit for them to do the task independently. What are they doing? - Play the recording three times for pupils to listen, and follow in their books. - Play it again for them to listen and repeat - Then ask them to practice the conversation in groups of three. - Call on some groups to practice the dialogue. - Give feedback. Task 2. Put the words in the correct orders - Tell pupils that they are going to Put the words in the correct orders with the information in the story. - Give them time to look at the story again, then compare the answers - Invite some ss to write the answers on the boards. *Key: 1. Let’s go for a walk 2. Let’s read a book 3. what are they doing? 4 . Nini is listening to music. Task 3.
