A. OBJECTIVES
1. Knowledge
 By the end of this lesson, students will be able to 
- Identify the color of objects. ( It’s a pink flower)
- Review /k/, /d/ sounds.
2. Skills:
- Develope Ss’ Listening and speaking skills

C. PROCEDURES
* Warm up: Whisper
- Arrange children into rows of at least six.
- Secretly show a flashcard to the first child in each group. This child whispers the 
word to the child next to him/her.
- Children continue whispering the word to the child next to them until the word 
reaches the final child.
The final child says the word out loud, and the first child holds up the flashcard to see 
whether the word is correct.
* New lesson
- Introduce the new lesson and write on the board.
I . Presentation
1. Teach vocabulary 
- Use real objects to introduce the new words: (pink, white, flower.)
- Have students listen to each new word.
- Show the pictures of the part A on the projector and ask students to open the books.
- Play audio, and point to each flashcard for students to listen 
- Play audio again and have students point to the pictures in their books.
- Play audio again and have students listen and repeat. - Have students work in pairs, one of them points to the picture in the book and the 
other says the word. 
- Call some pairs to the board and check.
- Introduce the sentence pattern: (It’s a pink flower)
- Have Sts listen and repeat sometimes
- Have Sts use pictures to identify the color of objects in groups of six
- Give comments
2. The letter C, the / k / sound and The letter D, the /d/ sound
- Tell the class that they are going to review two new letters/ sounds
- Show the cards C,D
T ask : How do you say this letter in English? Let’s listen
- Play audio- Students listen ( 3 times)
- Play again- students listen and repeat
- Show the flashcard- T: the letter ?- Students: C

* Play the game: Find out the right word.
II. Practice
1. Listen and point. 
- Have Sts work in pairs. One says and another points. (use flashcards. )
- Give comments
2. Play game : Run, draw and color.
- Have students work in four teams.
- Stick four blank sheets on the board.
- Say “ Draw a pink flower.” Have one student of each team run to the board to draw 
and color the flower.
- Continue the game in the same way.
III. Production
1. Play game Slap the board
- Split the class into four teams. 
- Place pictures of flowers on the board.
- Have four students come to the board to face off. 
- Call out the sentence (e.g.” It’s a red flower.”) and have students run to the board 
then slap the picture and repeat the sentence. The winner is the student who slaps the 
picture at first.

1. Teach vocabulary 
- Review numbers from 1 to 15.
- Introduce numbers from 16 to 20. Arrange the flashcards on the board, play audio, 
and point to each flashcard. 
- Play audio again and have students point to the numbers in their books. 
- Play audio again and have students listen and repeat. 
- Have students work in pairs, one points to the numbers and one says the words. Swap 
roles.
2. Introduce sentence pattern 
- Have students look at the pictures and answer the question. How many triangles are 
there? 
- Introduce the sentence pattern: There are twenty triangles
- Have students look at the useful language box. - Play audio. Have students listen to the useful language.

pictures. Swap roles.
III. Production
"Pass the card" game
- Divide the class into four teams.
- Have students from each team stand in a line.
- Have the teacher prepares cards from 16 to 20.
- Give the first student of each team a card and say "Go."
- The students say the corresponding words and pass the cards over their heads to the 
ones behind them.
- Have teams continue the game until their card reaches the last person.
- The last student in each line races to hand their card to the teacher and says the word.
- Give the first team to name their card correctly one point.
