Week 34 Date of teaching: 1A, 1B, 1C ( 10/5/2022), Period: 32 REVISION A. OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. use structure “I want a ” and “ I have a .” to talk about toys and food 2. Vocab: car, teddy bear, ball; banana, cookie, sandwich B. INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES - student’s and teacher’s book, flashcards, Audio C. PROCEDUCE Activity 1. : Heads up. What's missing? - Divide the class into two teams. - Arrange the flashcards “ banana, cookie, sandwich” on the board and remove one card when students are not looking. - One student from each team calls out the missing flashcard. Activity 2 ; Feely Bag - Put some pictures in a bag. - Have children sit in a circle. - Play some music and ask children to pass the bag from one child to the next around the circle. - Stop the music suddenly. The child who has the bag when the music stops feels a picture in the bag and says “ I want a (cookie).” Then the child pulls the picture out of the bag to see if he/she was correct. - Play the music and continue in this way until several children have had a turn. Activity 3 : Pass the card - Give student a flashcard. - Have students listen to music and pass the flashcard. - Stop music. - Have the student with the flashcard stand up and say ‘I want a (cookie)’. - Change the card and continue the game. Activity 4 Board race - Divide the class into two teams. - Stick three flashcards on the board, e.g. "car", “teddy bear” and "ball". - Have one student from each team stand away from the - board. - Choose one of the flashcards and say the word. - Have the students from each team race to the board to - touch the correct flashcard and say the sentence, e.g. "I have a car." Activity 4: Play the “ Chain” game. - Have students look at the example. - Divide the class into groups of four. - Have the students stand up. - Have Student A turn to Student B and say a sentence, then have Student B say a sentence. - Next, have Student B turn to Student C and say a sentence, then have Student C say a sentence. - Continue until all students have practiced. Have some groups demonstrate the activity in front of the class Activity 5: Wrap-up & Assignments - Ask students to answer the following questions: 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today? (talk about toys and food) 2. What’re the core values of the lesson? (protect toys carefully and eat healthy food.) Feedback: .. Date of teaching: 2A, 2B, 2C ( 12/5/2022), Period: 32 REVISION A. OBJECTIVES By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Review days of the week - Ask about days of the week, using: What day is it today? Vocabulary: days of the week Key grammatical structures: What day is it today? B. INSTRUCTIONAL RESOURCES - Textbook: Tiếng Anh 2: Student’s book page - 8 cards . - a computer and a projector. C. Procedures. Activity 1: Networks: Days of the week - Tell S to Write 7 days of the week Activity 2: Run and Write - Divide the class into four groups. - Have students stand in four lines. - Say a word. (E.g. tiger) - Have the first student in each line run to the board and write the word. - The fastest student who writes the correct word gets one point for his/her team. - Continue the game as the same way. - The team that gets the most points wins. Activity 3: : “lucky numbers” game - Draw a table of 10 squares and write in it any 10 natural numbers, in which there will be 7 boxes containing questions for students to answer and 3 questions are 3 lucky numbers called Lucky number. Each lucky number is a 10 point and no questions asked. Question: What day is it today? Activity 4: “Find friends” game( 9’). - Have students make a circle and look at the example. - Have one student choose one flashcard and give a friend and ask “ What day is it today?.He/ She answers the question. If the answer is correct. He/she will be chose another flashcard to find friends. If not they won’t be chose - Continue this activity as the same way. Activity 5: Wrap-up & Assignments - Ask students to answer the following questions: 1. What have you learnt from the lesson today? (talk about toys and food) 2. What’re the core values of the lesson? (protect toys carefully and eat healthy food.) Feedback: .. Date of teaching: 5A, 5B ,5C ( 11/5/2022), Period 63 REVISION A. Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to - Review vocab and structures that they’ve learnt from Unit 11 to Unit 15. - Reinforce speaking, writing skills. * Resources: Books, subboard. B. Procedures: I. Vocabulary: Brainstorming - Get ss to play some games to review new words they’ve learnt. * Healthy problem: * Daily routines * Jobs * Adjs: - Get ss to read all the words in chorus, individually. II. Sentence parterns: Unit 11: What ’s the matter with you? I have a/an .. You should/ shouldn’t .. Unit 12: Don’t ..! Ok. I won’t Why shouldn’t I ? Because You may . Unit 13: What do you do in your free time? I What does your ..do in his/ her free time? He/ she . Unit 14: What happened in the story? First, Next, Then, In the end .
