Week 12 Date of teaching: 1A, 1B ( 29/11/2021), 1C ( 30/11/2021) Period: 11 REVISION A. OBJECTIVES 1. Knowledge By the end of this lesson, pupils will be able to: - Review Unit 1 to Unit 5 to prepare for the 1st semester test 2. Skills: Listening and speaking, reading and writing skills 3. Competences - Problems solving and creation - Communication and cooperation - Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work - Linguistic competence 4. Quality - Humane - Hardworking - Responsible - Honest B. TEACHING AIDS 1. Teacher’s aids: Teacher’s book, projector/TV, laptop, flashcards, real objects, worksheet. 2. Students’ aids: Students’ books, workbooks, C. PROCEDURES Warm-up: “Memory” game - Divide the class into three teams. - Invite one student from each group to come to the board. - Place some flashcards or writes some words on the board (about 10 flashcards or words). - Give the students some time to memorize as much words as possible. - When the time is up, the students write down what they have memorized. - The student who has the most correct words gets points for his/her team. Repeat with different students. 1. Activity 1: Look and match. (Give each student a worksheet. ) - Have students look at the pictures and call out what they can see. - Demonstrate the activity using the example. - Have students match the objects with their shadows and the corresponding words. Check answers as a whole class. 2. Activity 2: Look and write. (Give each student a worksheet.) - Divide the class into pairs. - Have Student A calls out the words. - Have Student B writes down the words under the corresponding pictures. Check answers as a whole class. 3. Activity 3: Listen and circle. (Give each student a worksheet.) - Have students identify the pictures and call out their names, guess the correct pictures could be. - Play audio. Demonstrate the activity using the example. - Play audio. Have students listen and circle. - Play audio. Have students listen again and check. - Check answers as a whole class. 4. Skills: - Develop Ss’ speaking and reading skills 3. Competences - Problems solving and creation - Communication and cooperation - Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work - Use language to do listening and speaking tasks. 4. Knowledge: - Perform their abilities in listening, speaking to the topics from unit 1 to10, using the phonics, vocabulary and sentence patterns they have learnt. - Read a paragraph and write answers to the questions. - Write about themselves, using the guiding questions. 2. Skills: - Develop Ss’ speaking and reading skills 3. Competences - Problems solving and creation - Communication and cooperation - Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work - Use language to do reading and writing tasks. 4. Quality - Have concentration, listen carefully, express idea during lesson - Love people, hometown and country. B. TEACHING AIDS 1. Teacher’s aids: Teacher’s book, projector/TV, laptop, pictures 2. Students’ aids: School things C. PROCEDURES Warm-up : 1. Activity 1: Read and write - Have pupils open their books on the P71. Tell pupils that they are going to read and get the information to write the answers. - Ask some pupils to read their answers aloud to the class. - Correct. 2. Activity 2: Write about you - Asking Ss to read the text on the P71 and complete the text. - Guiding Ss to complete the text. - Call on some Ss to read the text that they have completed. - Correction. 3.
