WEEK: 26 Date of preparing: 20 / 3/ 2021 Date of teaching : 23 /3 / 2021 UNIT 15: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN THE FUTURE? Period 99: Lesson 3 ( P1,2,3) A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Practise saying questions and answer with falling intonation. - Listen and mark the sentences intonation. Then say the sentences aloud. - Practise reading the chant” what would you like to be in the future?” B. Language focus: Review C. Teaching aids: Pictures, textbook, projector D. Procedure: I. Warm up: - Revising the last lesson II. New lesson: 1. Listen and repeat - Tell ss that they are going to practise saying sentences with falling. intonation. Tell ss to pay attention to sentences intonation. - T shows the sentences, models the sentences intonation. Explain that a negative command or a wh-question is pronouced with a falling tone. - Play the recording all the way for ss to listen first. - Play the recording again for ss to repeat the sentences twice. - Ss listen and repeat 2. Listen and mark the sentence intonation. Then say the sentences aloud: - T shows the gap-fill on the board and tell ss that they are going to listen Listen and mark the sentence intonation. Then say the sentences aloud. - Give them a few seconds to read the sentences in silent. - Play the recording for ss to listen and do the task. Then play it again for them to check the answers. - Get them to compare their answers in pairs before checking as a class. - Asks the class to read the completed the sentences aloud. 3. Let’s Chant - T shows the chant on the board and tell ss that they are going to say the chant What do you do? - Have ss read the chant and check their comprehension. - T plays the recording for ss to listen and play it again for them to repeat line by line - Put the class in to two group to practise chating the questions and answer respectively once or twice. - Have rhem practise saying the chant and do the actions. - Calls some ss to chant in front of the class and actions in groups. - Call some group to the front of the class to say the chant and do the actions III. Homework: - Do exercises in workbook. - Prepare for next lesson. *********************************************** WEEK: 26 Date of preparing: 20 / 3/ 2021 Date of teaching : 23 /3 / 2021 UNIT 15: WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE IN THE FUTURE? Period 100: Lesson 3(P4,5,6,7) A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Read and write - Develop Ss reading and writing skills. B. Language focus: Pattern: “Review”.; C. Teaching aids: Pictures, textbook, projector . D. Procedure: I. Warm up: - Have Ss retell the story. II. New lesson: 4. Read and tick T or F - Tell ss that they are going to read the text but before reading, please guess True( T) or False( F). - T asks ss to read the text and checks their guessing - Ss read and check their answer. Keys: 1T, 2T, 3F, 4T, 5T 5. Write about what would you like to be and to do in the future. - Tell the class that they are going to write about what your family do at weekends. - T asks Ss do the task for 3 minutes. T goes around for help, if necessary. - T calls some Ss go to the board and write down their answers. The others give comment. - T gives feedback. 6. Project - Tell the class that they are going to make poster about what they would like to be in the future andtell the class about it. - Asks ss to work in groups of five to decide which accidents to select and discuss how to avoid them. - T sets the time 7. Colour the stars. - Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension. - Give time to colour the stars and invite a few ss to read the statements aloud. - T helps ss if necessary. III. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Listen and identify specific information. - Read and identify specific information. - Read and identify general ideas. B. Language focus: Vocabulary: from Unit `10 to Unit 15. Sentence Patterns: from Unit 10 to Unit 15. C. Teaching aids: Pictures, textbook, projector . D. Procedure: I.Warm up: - T has Ss sing the song What would you like to be in the future? II. New lesson: 1. Listen and tick: - T elicits the pictures. - T reads listening text. - Sts listen and tick pictures. - Some Ss call out the answers. - Others give comments. 2. Listen and number: - T elicits the pictures. - T reads listening text. - Sts listen and number pictures. - Some Ss call out the answers. - Others give comments. - T gets feedback. 3. Listen and write one word in the blank: - T elicits the pictures. - T reads listening text. - Sts listen and tick pictures. - Some Ss call out the answers. - Others give comments. III. Homework: - Do exercises in workbook. - Prepare for next lesson. WEEK: 26 Date of preparing: 20/ 3/ 2021 Date of teaching : 25 /3 / 2021 REVIEW 3 (CONT) Period 102 A. Objectives: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to: - Listen and identify specific information. - Read and identify specific information. - Read and identify general ideas. B. Language focus: Vocabulary: from Unit `10 to Unit 15. Sentence Patterns: from Unit 10 to Unit 15. C. Teaching aids: Pictures, textbook, projector . D. Procedure: I.Warm up: - Chatting II. New lesson: 4. Read and complete: - T gives the poster of gap-fill on the bb and guides. - T gets Ss to do the task. - 5 Ss come to the bb to complete the table. - Others give comments. - T gets feedback. 5. Write about you. - Ask ss are going to write sentences about themselves. - T asks Ss do the task for 5 minutes. T goes around for help, if necessary. - T calls some Ss go to the board and write down their answers. The others give comment. - T gives feedback. III.
